rekyavik in four days

Trying to summarize our four day trip to Iceland is difficult. It’s such a different place that there was so much to see and do. It was a great start to our trip for a few reasons.
1- My friend Tara joined us, she had really done a lot of research into things to do in Reykjavik and was so open to trying everything
2- There’s a completely different feel there, so coming from Canada it was a nice change
3- There are lots of activities to actively participate in rather than just observe

Below is our first and second day in Reykjavik. This gallery will take you through our first sites, meeting at the bus station, and our explorations of Reykjavik; it’s shops, harbours, institutes, landscape, museums, etc.
The next post will cover the later days including fun things like: eating sheep face (it’s a delicacy there), icelandic sweaters, the golden circle, and more.
